Two-year warranty

  1. The two-year warranty applies to products purchased from JOYOR channels to prevent any manufacturing defects. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner and the original product. (All free accessories are not covered by the warranty).
  2. When the original purchaser orders and receives the product from our online store, the warranty will be automatically registered and will only apply to the original owner and the original product.
  3. The warranty is calculated from the date of purchase and does not include electric scooters purchased from unauthorized sources. To be eligible for the warranty, you must present a receipt as proof of purchase and verify your name and address and any other information submitted for the purchase.

Note: Electric scooters are not allowed for sale to anyone under the age of 18. Underage riders must be accompanied by a parent or adult during the ride.

Note: Stolen bikes are not covered by the warranty. We recommend that you purchase high-quality locks to protect your bike when not in use.

Products covered

  1. If original equipment and/or non-consumable parts are found to be defective, JOYOR may, at its option, have it repaired or replaced within two (2) years from the date of original purchase.

1.1 Battery

The warranty period of the JOYOR battery is 1 year. Within the first year of service, defective batteries will be repaired free of charge. Battery repairs are warranted from the date of original purchase and JOYOR cannot directly assess the defect of the battery.

This warranty does not cover:

(1) Wear and tear of wearing parts (including but not limited to tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, boxes, handles, chains, spokes, beacon lights, LCD screens, pedals, cranks, engines, saddles, gear levers) that require regular maintenance and are not covered by the normal wear and tear warranty. Spare parts can be purchased on joyor.store.

(2) defects or damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper use (including, but not limited to, breakage, racing or similar activities not intended for the exclusive use of the product), improper storage, contact with liquids, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, negligence or abnormal physical, electrical or mechanical stress.

(3) Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage, unless caused by JOYOR.

(4) Products whose serial number or barcode has been removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or difficult to identify;

(5) Product defects or damage caused by the use of accessories, products, or auxiliary/peripheral devices that are not supplied or approved by JOYOR with the product.

(6) Defects or damage caused by assembly, testing, work, maintenance, installation, maintenance, repair, or adjustment in a manner different from the assembly instructions and user manual.

(7) Defects or damage caused by external factors such as collision, fire, flood, thunderstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of the power supply.

In addition, for batteries, this limited warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:

(1) charge avec un chargeur inapproprié ou non destiné à la batterie.

(2) Improper use of the battery charger.

(3) Any signs of tampering or damage to the battery.

(4) Use the battery in a device other than the designated e-scooter.

1.2 Frameworks

(1) The JOYOR electric scooter frame comes with a 2-year replacement warranty.

(2) This warranty only covers the replacement of the frame. It does not include labor costs associated with transferring components to a replacement frame; An authorized JOYOR service representative will determine if the frame meets the replacement criteria.

(3) When replacing the frame, the right to use the frame with stock scratches and dents is reserved. JOYOR may choose to replace out-of-stock frame styles and/or colors with compatible frame styles and/or colors.

Framing issues not covered by this warranty include, but are not limited to:

(1) Corrosion.
(2) Fading, scratches, impact marks on paint.and
(3) Impact damage.
(4) Irreversible modifications (e.g. drilling or welding).

1.3 Components (Motor, Controller, Battery, Charger, Throttle, Pedal Assist Sensor, Display Panel)

The warranty period for motors, controllers, batteries, chargers, string bars, pedal assist sensors, display panels, and steering wheels is 1 year.

This warranty does not cover:

  1. Defects or damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, abnormal use (including, but not limited to, developmental delays, running, or other activities incompatible with the intended use of the product), improper storage, exposure to liquids, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand, or dirt, negligence, or abnormal physical, electrical, or mechanical stress.
  2. Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by JOYOR.
  3. Products whose serial numbers or barcodes have been removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or unrecognizable.
  4. Product defects or damage caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral devices not provided or approved by JOYOR.
  5. Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, work, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in violation of assembly instructions and user manuals.
  6. Defects or damage caused by external factors such as collisions, fires, floods, thunderstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or energy abuse.
  7. Normal wear and tear caused by defects that are not related to workmanship or materials, such as tires, brakes, and other components that are susceptible to wear. JOYOR can assess the degree of wear.

Warranty Claims

All claims under this warranty must be submitted to JOYOR info@joyor.store. Any warranty claim must be accompanied by proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product. Before submitting a warranty claim, we encourage you to contact Joyor's customer service info@joyor.store, as there may be an easy solution to your problem without having to file a claim. Valid warranty claims made within 2 years of the original purchase will be processed by Jodor.

During the warranty period, defective displays, batteries, motors, and controllers may be replaced. The buyer is responsible for paying the shipping costs.

Joyor does not replace any parts without first viewing the photos or videos of the damaged product. Customer must provide such evidence to info@joyor.store via email.

Note: As part of the responsibility (excluding shipping costs), Joyor will provide free replacement parts. Installation fees not authorized by the after-sales team will not be paid.

Shipping damage

If all accessories are scratched or lost during shipping, no replacement or compensation will be provided. In rare cases, items received may be damaged during shipping. If there is any damage to the goods, please contact info@joyor.store and provide photos or videos as proof.

Please note: The following will be considered normal and will not be covered by the free replacement or refund policy:
(1) The outer packaging is slightly damaged.
(2) There are slight scratches or peeling paint on the product.
(3) Collapsible parts that are bent due to transportation.
(4) Parts or components that are easily worn and damaged after a certain period of time or use.
We will not accept claims for damage to shipping submitted more than 7 days after receiving the item.

How to get the service

If you purchased a product that does not work properly under normal circumstances during the warranty period, please visit joyor.store Support for product maintenance and assistance. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged item so that our technical team can identify the problem and provide assistance. You can also contact info@joyor.store's official customer service directly. If it needs to be replaced, we will send you the components to be replaced and provide you with the correct steps.
